
Day 01 :
Arrival Makassar – Bira (L - D)
Upon arrival in Makassar airport, meeting services with the guide and driver. Afterwards we will take you out for a scenic drive to Tanjung Bira around 5-6 hours. On the way, you will visit Bissappu waterfall in Bantaeng. Lunch en route. The Bugisnese and Makassarese is the expert of wooden boat makers and a skilful Sailor in Indonesia. At Tana Beru you can see Traditional Perahu construction. Dinner & overnight at hotel
Day 02 :
Bira – Snorkel At Liukang island (B - L - D)
After breakfast at your hotel, we will take you for an Island trip to Liukang for snorkeling, by using a local boat for approx 30 min, but depends to the weather (Snorkeling equipment can be rented in Bira at your OWN cost). Lunch barbeque at Liukang island. In the afternoon back to Bira. Dinner & overnight at hotel
Day 03 :
Bira – Kajang - Watampone - Sengkang (B - L - D)
After breakfast at your hotel, visit Kajang tribe, the primitive Kajang etnic where all the villagers use the black custom and their life is quite isolated from the other people around. Leaded by their master called “Amatoa”, running their daily life based on their ancestor traditions. Simplicity life without electric equipment and modern household stuff. Afterwards transfer to Sengkang via Watampone. Located in the center of the Former Buginese Kingdom. Lunch en route. Arrival in the afternoon in Sengkang and we will take you across the lake by motorized canoe and visit the fishermen families living on the floating villages and enjoy the sunset. Dinner & overnight at hote.
*NOTE: The water elevation in Lake Tempe will be low during the dry season. Not recommended to crossing the lake.
Day 04 :
Sengkang – Toraja (B - L - D)
After breakfast at your hotel, visiting the traditional silk factory, where you can see the traditional spinning and weaving of silk material by Buginese women and take a time to go to hill, where you can see Sengkang city from the top. Afterwards transfer Toraja via Siwa and Palopo, passing through spectacular view along the road to Toraja. Lunch en route. In the afternoon arrive in Rantepao. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Hotel.
Day 05 :
Toraja : Lemo - Kambira - Londa - Karuaya - Kete Kesu (B - L - D)
After breakfast in your hotel, a full day exploring Tana Toraja. First you will visit Lemo to see rows of Tau Tau statues and the hanging graves. Later continue to discover the secrets of baby trees in Kambira. Onwards to Londa with its ancient tombs in which the deceased was not buried, but placed among the rocks. Lunch break in a local restaurant in Rantepao. Onwards to Kete Kesu with a stop in Karuaya to enjoy the beautiful and typical Toraja panorama, From here we will continue with a short walk to Kete Kesu, one of the oldest Toraja villages. Here you still find two rows of the original village houses, the traditional ancestral houses of the Toraja people, Tongkonan, as well as traditional rice barns with colorful woodcarvings. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Day 06 :
Toraja : Batu Tumonga - Soft Trekking - Weaving Center (B - L - D)
After breakfast in your hotel, we will bring you to visit Timonbayo where we can enjoy the spectacular view of the megalith stones spread over the extensive rice fields. Then to a burial cave of Lokomata. From Lokomata, we continue our trip to Batutumonga where we will a have short trekking, enjoy the beautiful panorama and experience a moment of the unique Torajan life style. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Batutumonga. In the afternoon, we will visit Bori (the meghalith) then to Pallawa & Sa’dan Tubaranna, local Torajan villages known as the weaving center of Rantepao. Then back to the hotel for dinner & overnight
Day 07 :
Toraja – Makassar (B - L - D)
After breakfast in your hotel, check-out. Transfer back to Makassar. A coffee-break at Puncak Lakawan to enjoy the spectacular view. Lunch will be served at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare. Afterwards transfer directly to your hotel in the town of Makassar. Dinner & overnight at hotel
Day 08 :
Makassar – City Tour – Airport (B - L)
After breakfast in your hotel, check out. A city tour Makassar by visiting Anjungan Losari Beach, new icon of Makassar, featuring the 4 etnics in south Sulawesi. Afterwards visit Fort Rotterdam, which also houses the Lagaligo Museum. This museum consist of two buildings. One housing ethnology and the others is history continue to visit Paotere traditional harbor where you can see the Phinisi boat. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch transfer direct to airport to catch the flight to the next destination
